I'm Looking For Work
Dear Friend,
Thank you for visiting my personal website. I like to think of this site as my personal library—a place where I can share samples of my work with visitors like you. As you’ve browsed these pages, I hope you’ve learned a little about me. At the same time, I hope I’ve sparked a few questions, and I look forward to answering them.
That said, I want you to know this: when someone asks me, “Michael, what do you do for a living?”—I smile and proudly say, “I’m a seasoned Jack of All Trades!”
What does that mean for you, the visitor and reader? Simply this: I’m an out-of-the-box thinker who produces unique, specialized, and hard-hitting documents that make an impact. Combined with a solid moral foundation and work ethic, I believe no job is too small and no goal is too high. All it takes is rolling up your sleeves and getting down to work!
I hope I exemplified this mindset during the pandemic. Specifically, during that time, I:
- Acted as a volunteer board member for a school in Uganda.
- Worked in a restaurant as a host (just to get out of the house).
- Fine-tuned my skills and prepared for “the day after the pandemic.”
- Cared for my elderly (90-year-old) mother. (In January 2023, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and as of August 2024, she is living in an assisted care facility.)
- Consulted—pro bono—on political campaigns both at home and overseas.
- Learned how to code and create websites.
With all that on the table, I’m now open and back on the job market. I’ve been active in both business and volunteer work, and I’m happy to contribute as an employee, contractor, volunteer, or paid professional.
Honestly, I just want to be involved, make a difference, re-engage with the world, and transform past losses into new opportunities.
So, what does that mean for you? It means two things. First, make no mistake—I’m looking for work at the level I am capable of doing. More importantly, I’m focused not only on how much I earn but also on what I can accomplish in the remaining years of my career. I’m driven by potential and purpose.
Second, I’m open to discussing general employment opportunities or contracted services—whatever best fits your needs.
In closing, if you have a position that you believe aligns with what you’ve learned about me—whether here or on this site—let’s talk! I’d love to explore possibilities with you.
Thanks,
Michael
